European cultural routes – impact study

IGCAT took part in a study on the impact of European cultural routes on small and medium size enterprises (SME’s), innovation and competitiveness as part of a European Commission funded project led and coordinated by the Council of Europe.
The overarching goals of the study are to provide an insight on the effects produced by the European cultural routes on SMEs performance (innovation and competitiveness) and clusters, and to examine the potential the Cultural Routes may have for creating successful tourist destinations in Europe.

Council of Europe expert, Dr. Diane Dodd  with Audrey Guittard, permanent collaborator of the Foundation “The Routes of the Olive Tree”, 10th March 2011.
