IGCAT has recently signed an agreement to take over administrative responsibilities from ART-idea. ART-idea was created in 2010 to put creative ideas into action and it certainly has done that! Since 2010 ART-idea has brought dozens of creative projects to fruition. Since its beginning the board recognised the need to study more closely the convergence between gastronomy, culture, arts and tourism.
The International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT) opened formally in December 2013. In order to simplify and streamline communications, the domain name Art-idea.eu will cease to exist and ART-idea’s statutes will be amended so that IGCAT is the new legal name of the association. IGCAT will maintain the same philosophy of supporting creative ideas.
With a goodbye to the domain name Art-idea.eu we welcome everyone to visit igcat.org. Dr. Diane Dodd, Director of both the association and the institute added that the transition will have the added-value of rationalising communications and all members of staff can now be reached using one email address info@igcat.org.
