Though the fest is far from perfect in terms of its environmental impact, it mandates a laundry list of sustainable initiatives and incentivizes even more. The festival organizers have found solutions to many environmental problems, trying to reduce the carbon footprint of the event and making it more environmentally friendly. A range of the solutions include re-usable water bottles and a safer way of composting the trash accumulated at the end of the festival.
